Mr. Alejandro Araujo

Mr. Araujo was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. He comes from a long line of educators stretching back to his father, uncles, and grandparents. He began his educational journey in Dallas ISD as an early childhood teacher, adopted a leadership role as an Instructional Coach, and two years ago, became an Assistant Principal at Nancy J. Cochran Elementary located in Oak Cliff.

Mr. Araujo is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment and believes that education is a journey of discovery and empowerment where every student deserves a teacher who advocates for them and delivers high-quality, equitable instruction.

Mr. Araujo is excited to continue his leadership journey at Edwin J. Kiest Elementary School, where he looks forward to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while supporting a culture of academic excellence and growth.
